Organisation of the MultiLAwa training programme (25 ECTS)
MultiLAwa doctoral training programme is based on a mix of on-site training schools and online workshops: three full-week on-site training schools and three online webinars. The scientific training (15 ECTS) consisting of scientific training courses (Theoretical Basics & Empirical Methods; Language Awareness in Practice & Exchange with Experts) is supplemented by three complementary (hard and soft) skills workshops (8 ECTS): Open Science, Intellectual Property Rights & Ethics ; Scientific Presentation & Research Communication ; ; Entrepreneurship, Project Management & Career planning (3 ECTS), and by Knowledge Transfer Activities (2 ECTS).
The consortium will train 14 DCs as plurilingual ambassadors of plurilingualism in research excellence by using both English and German for internal communication during the training events and to achieve the respective research objectives in their multilingual IRP.
Local Doctoral School Training (5 ECTS)
The network-wide training is complemented by individual training courses at the local level delivered by the DCs own doctoral schools.
